First Time Building a Hackintosh [Info Included]

Hello r/hackintosh !

This is my first time trying to install macOS Mohave onto my "hackintosh."

From the many tutorials I have gone through and tried, I haven't had any success getting to the macOS installation screen on boot after Clover Loader...

So far I am able to:

  1. Create a USB install drive (with Install macOS Mohave.app)
  2. Install Clover Bootloader .pkg for the USB drive (here I am not sure which EXACT customizations to use...)
  3. Load a .plist (custom or blank, still not sure which is best to trust...)
  4. Edit things in the Clover Configurator (there have been some options I've tried, but no luck yet...)
  5. Load .kext files (most guides say to place them in /EFI/Clover/kexts/Other/)
  6. Change my bios settings (used info from this video)
  7. Plug in the drive and cross my fingers

I found this successful build, had some advice (similar to mine but GTX 1080ti)

These were the .kext files I used:

  • Lilu.kext
  • FakeSMC.kext / VirtualSMC.kext (including the other optional ones) (I have tried both)
  • AppleALC.kext
  • whateverGreen.kext
  • GenericUSBXHCI.kext
  • IntelMausiEthernet.kext
  • USBInjectAll.kext

I hope this is enough information. Based on all of this, what is the best method for me to get to the macOS installation screen? I have tried a few different things, but I think I'm just messing up at a certain step! There is ALOT of information, and I've really reall really tried to research and attempt to install all of this myself. This is my first time doing this and if there is anyone that is willing to help me (or has happened to have a similar build) I am truly greatful for any help you can provide. Even a little. In the meantime, I'll just keep trying till something works...
