So I'm a little tech savvy but definitely not in the hackintosh department.
I bought a hackintosh from eBay last year and everything is fine. It came with a usb with what appears to be an exact copy of the SSD when it came.
I have my 240gb ssd with Mojave and clover that I have been using for months, I decided to get a Kingston 960gb SSD from Amazon to increase storage. Decided maybe I should use this for Windows so I installed it and played around but wasn't into it so I formatted and tried to clone my 240GB SSD with carbon cloner and them copy my efi data from this to my new 960gb SSD.
I cannot get this to work! I have copied the efi from the current ssd, tried the efi from the backup usb I got with the computer
When I boot from new SSD - says no operating system found.
Boot clover from usb to boot into new SSD (verbose) it loads loads of text and ends in "end randomised ++++++..."
I have tried this a few times and my understanding that these 2 drives are identical and should work.
I've tried booting new SSD from SATA and usb 2 and 3 (using usb 3 adapter)
Booting from the usb comes up with the same error.
I've followed many guides fix this online where it's worked for hundreds of other people but not me.
Is there something I'm missing?
Its a Lenovo if that's any help!
Thanks guys!
