My mobo is z170x Designare and I installed the required Thunderbolt drivers over at Windows. I got it to finally work (kinda) because the iPhone is now charging over the port - which means it's working. However, Image Capture does not detect it, and also iTunes. It is however detected when I plug it into USB 3. I plan to use the USB 3.1 port someday for drives but I still don't know if they will work.
