https://i.redd.it/x5l2awegw2031.png Motherboard: Gigabyte H370M DS3H CPU: Intel i7-8700 GPU: Radeon RX Vega 56 Air Boost 8G OC (Not a fan of the blower style card, but it was $270 with discounts + rebate so) SSD: Crucial MX500 1TB (The rest of the parts don't really matter with regards to compatibility I guess so) Sleep works fine, App Store works fine, I have an Android so I don't really use iMessage, and I don't really know what else to test LOL I used the vanilla guide by corpnewt and some extra tips from the hackintosher guide. corpnewt's guide has everything laid out very easily, but the hackintosher guide was a bit clearer with regards to specific BIOS settings. I ran into some weird errors but big thanks to everyone who helped me through :) In the end all I needed was a few kexts and a motherboard BIOS update.... ***One thing I didn't realize was that I couldn't use a USB Type-C drive for the boot installation... Using a Type-C to Type-A adapter did the trick though! Hope nobody else runs into that mistake*** I've built a PC before, but always wanted to do a hackintosh build as well. It was pretty challenging, but with all the online guides and help from reddit, I was able to finish in a day. In the future I'll look into dual-booting into Windows...!! Hopefully that's not too hard.
