Updated to 10.14.5 - Hackintosh hangs. Some say I need to update clover?

I've got a Z77-DS3H, 2500K GTX 760 rig that is going strong. Updated to 10.14.5 last night and now the Hackintosh is hanging on the boot page at around 1/5 of the progress bar and doesn't go any further.

I've read on this thread https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/b6zygl/updated_to_10144_everything_works/ that I should update clover, and that will help it boot. Is this correct?

If so, how do I update clover as I can't even boot into the Mac Partition where I can download clover and install the update?
