Hey Reddit! I'm a long time lurker, but I have done my fair share of hackintoshing the past decade ever sine Snow Leopard. I currently have my main hack still running strong 4 years later on High Sierra. (because of my stupid GTX 970 and web drivers)
However, I wanted to try out Catalina Beta 3 on a spare PC I had because it ran horribly slow on my Macbook Pro and I didn't want to risk my main hack being messed up.
Currently the install finishes successfully, however, when I try to boot up from the SSD it freezes at the "Welcome" country select screen. Anyone know how to fix this? I've tried messing with boot arguments and safe mode but nothing I've tried so far works.
I'm using Clover build v2.4k_r4980 and I'm using all latest versions of VirtualSMC, WhateverGreen, USBInjectAll, Lilu, AppleALC, and RealtekRTL8111. I tried using FakeSMC as well but that froze too.
If anyone would love to share their experience I'd greatly appreciate it! Thanks!
