XPG SX8200 Pro vs samsung 970 evo plus for hackintoish

I was looking for a replacement for my pm981 256 gb (not because I don't like or need now more space but it doesn't seem to work on MacOs) and I was thinking of getting a 500 gb 970 evo plus for around 115€ and a jms583 based enclosure to use my pm 981 as an external drive(for like 30-40€ a 10gbps 256gb external ssd seems useful and I might use it to clone my old one) but then I saw the SX8200 Pro that is a bit cheapen on the 500 model and much cheaper if I wanted to get the 1 tb one (160 vs 220) and since specs seem quite similiar I might just spend 50 more and have more space than I'd use but I have a few questions. Would I see any difference between the two? Is the pm981 still not compatible? Would it work as an external ssd with mac for data/film/backup or it just won't work at all (the samsung ssd x5 is based on the pm981 over a tb3 connection), ever? Is the SX8200 compatible with Osx?

Thank you
