Does AirDrop/Handoff/Continuity work with BT Dongles?

Hi all,

I have successfully installed macOS on a Desktop (i5 6500T, 8Gb, 512GB SSD and GTX 960) which is a dual boot with Windows 10. However, I have discovered that I cannot get AirDrop to work. I'm not sure if AirDrop works with Bluetooth USB Dongles and would appreciate some clarity on this situation. I have a DW1510 Wifi Card and a Sabrent USB Bluetooth Adapter. Thanks!
