Does Intel WiFi break Hackintosh installer/OS or does it just not work?

Hello there,

My laptop has an Intel 9560 Wireless Card and I kept seeing warnings that I should not Hackintosh using an Intel card. However, what I do not understand is whether having one can actually break the installer / OS itself or the card will just not work.

I want to know because I'm also running Windows on my machine and I want to keep that card and use Ethernet/Phone Tethering for the Hackintosh.
