I recently got these arctic cooler pwm fans and so my stem is so much quieter but now I can hear the 1060 fans a lot more. I've had this problem since my first install a few months ago and asked around and had no reply so I thought I'd try again.
My specs:
- i5 8600k
- RX 580 First PCIE slot
- 1060 Secod PCIE slot
- Asus Z370-F Gaming
I have just updated the kexts as well. I'm using virtualSMC, WhateverGreen, Lilus. Last post someone recommended I patch ACPI but unfortunately the both of us could not find the function to turn off on my system. I've also tried the other two ways to disable GPU as well but have same result. This is a vanilla build also now running latest OS of Catalina.
