I want to start possibly selling Pre-Made Hackintosh’s. Feedback?

first things first, don’t care if it’s illegal or not.

this isn’t selling hardcore drugs, it’s literally just installing licensed software on a Windows PC then selling that Windows PC. Doubt a trillion dollar company would notice some 20 year old dude in college selling a couple of pre-built Hackintosh’s.

So now that, that is out the way,

  1. I’m amazing at building PC’s. Built 10-15 PC’s over the past year or so and I’m able to build a PC from scratch within 15-30 minutes.

  2. Also amazing at installing MacOS on Windows PCs. I’ve installed it on roughly 5-10 PC’s and am also able to do it within 15-30 minutes.

  3. Amazing at finding pc parts for super cheap. Have a MacOS/Windows dual boot gaming PC in my room already. But tonight I decided to buy the parts for a separate Hackintosh and was able to get them for $350 and that total includes a 24 inch 1080 monitor.

I’d say the build I bought tonight is roughly 5-10% slower then the current Mac Pro 2019 so not to bad eh? Saved a good $5000 right there.

Specs

———-

Intel i3-8100 - $90

GTX 760 3gb - $60

128gb ssd - $20

400w power supply - $20

micro atx case $40

MOBO - $50

8gb ram $25

24 inch 1080p monitor - $60

———

+I can build a Mac Pro 2019 equivalent for $300, I’d probably up-charge $300-700 and in the end, sell it for $600-$1000

+I’d buy refurbished PC parts in wholesale as well so I’m not buying a million different parts from 30 different vendors.

  • WiFi Card

+ready to boot up to Catalina out of box

+Would include an extra usb installer with MacOS Catalina just in case something ever messes up.

+Good customer service and fast replies

  • Secure payment system so you know you’re not getting scammed.

Here’s what the spec sheet would look something like

(Literally the specs for the Hackintosh I bought tonight)

CPU - i3-8100

GPU - GTX 760 3gb

SSD - SANDISK X300 128gb SSD

RAM - 8gb Crucial DDR4 ram

MOBO - Gigabyte z370p D3 micro atx motherboard

CASE - Deepcool Matrexx Micro ATX case, as its one of the closest cases I’ve seen that looks like a Mac Pro 2019, also happens to be probably hands down the best case under $40.

Alright that’s everything. So what do you guys think?

20 year old sophomore in college for computer science, self made, have my own house, have money to put into this & could easily do it. My only issue is having a platform to sell them on as well as gaining trust.
