NOOB needs help with Catalina on a 6700k + z270 motherboard

Hello everyone!

Just followed the Intel Vanilla guide for Skylake processors. Got to create the USB and added all the kexts that seemed appropiate ( AtherosE2200Ethernet.kext , USBInjectAll.kext, AppleALC.kext, Lilu.kext ) and then followed the skylake specific settings and did my best to match and understand what I was adding and doing. Then I got to changing the BIOS settings and then I tried to boot the installer for the first time.

Something went wrong (obviously) and got stuck on an error that said "Apple NVME Assert Failed" after selecting to boot from the installer USB inside Clover.

To add any more context, my set up is:

• Asus Z270-I Strix motherboard + 6700K CPU
• 5700XT Sapphire Nitro+
• 16GB RAM
• 1 500GB SATA SSD for Windows 10 (already installed and set up)
• 1 500GB SATA SSD for Shared storage
• 1 256GB NVME M.2 960 EVO SSD for Mac OS

My guess is that any BIOS parameter I changed is wrong or I am missing any kext or clover set up that I need to do (specifically for NVME).
