Has anyone seen a situation where you set your voltage in BIOS and OSX just completely ignores it and does whatever it wants? If I set my voltage to 1.3 in BIOS and my CPU to 5.0GHz I have a perfectly stable rig in Windows 10, but the moment I boot into OSX the voltage spikes under load to 1.4, almost 1.5..
If I lower the OC to 4.8GHz the voltage stays under 1.3.
Has anyone come across this before? Is there a setting to override OSX's voltage settings?
I've run overclocked hackintoshes for over a decade now, and I've never seen this before.
