Anyone else experiencing freezes with Google Meet?

I'm on Catalina 10.15 with OC 0.5.9. System config is i5-8500, 2 x 8Gb Corsair Vengeance LPX, R9 Nano, Samsung 970 EVO 1Tb.

Most things seem to be working great. I have to use Google Meet for work and the system constantly, without fail, freezes up when on a Google Meet video call. It works fine for a while and then completely freezes up and I have to pull the plug and turn on again. I've tried this with both Safari & Chrome with the same results.

Has anyone experienced anything similar or have any pointers?
