Heya,
So now that my NVIDIA card is disabled in Catalina, I am looking to beef things up for my Z390/9700k Hackintosh, mainly for the purpose of better performance in Final Cut Pro.
For my intended budget, what would your preference be? Right now I am eyeing Sapphire Pulse RX 580 and SAPPHIRE Pulse RX 5500 XT. Not sure if 5500 XT performance has improved in macOS in the last couple of months (I read reports about worse performance compared to even an RX 560...) but I imagine the 7nm manufacturing makes it a little cooler and quieter?
