How long does it take for Catalina to install using open core with the recovery file from gitMacOs?

Cause mine says about 37 hours remaining. I followed the vanilla desktop guide and only downloaded the recovery from gitMacOs (around 500 MB) so I guess its downloading the 8 GB remaining of the OS? just wanna know if should leave it downloading overnight.
