Swapping to Radeon dGPU from working iGPU HD 4600

Hi there

Had a working Haswell based OpenCore setup

Haswell i7 4790K

Gigabyte z97x Gaming-GT

OpenCore 5.9 using vanilla guide

Catalina

Got dual monitors working with HDMI and DP outputs but only at 2560 x 1440 res, decided need 2 x 4k monitors so I went and got a secondhand sapphire rx 280x based on the GPU buyers guide.

What in the config.plist do I need to change to swap from onboard graphics to dGPU?

Take out -wegnogpu bootflag?

Change smbios from 15,1 to 14,2?

what else? I can't really work out a pathway to upgrade, or do I need to start again, make a new efi and re-install?

the weird thing is I had dual monitors working, backed up my EFI to two locations, changed the above boot flag and smbios, and it just froze before playing startup chime and seeing any verbose output, so I put everything back to how it was and now I can't get dual monitors working again using integrated graphics....
