Question about upgrading components (OpenCore)

I want to potentially upgrade my graphics card since I only have an RX580 and want to have some better GPU performance.

I'm on an OpenCore build. What all will I have to do on the hackintoah side if I upgrade the GPU? or will it just be plug and play?

Also any recommendations for a good card to move up to from the RX580?
