Azurewave question

Hi I’m hoping some one here can help me out. I’m not super tech savvy but recently decided to check out all the devices on my home internet router. All on the network are accounted for except a device I look up by a MAC address that is made by Azurewave technology. Some, though not all, of its products are wireless PC Cards.

Are these cards that would have to be added manually to a MacBook or desktop computer? If so, what would the purpose be ?

And does anyone know how to use a MAC address to get a more specific product? The address is d0:c5:d3:17:e4:3f but I can’t seem to find listings that specify what kind of item by Azurewave it is.
