If Big Sur is 12GB now, what sort of storage requirements will we need going forward?

It looks like Universal Binary 2 files are going to be double the size, meaning XCode might be 10GB now too... YIKES, a 256GB SSD simply won't be enough anymore under Big Sur/Catalina with UB apps :-(
