Hello! I've been struggling with OpenCore and getting the damn thing to boot.
Specs:
- CPU: Intel 9700K (Coffee Lake)
- MoBo: Gigabyte Z390 I Aorus Pro WiFi
- RAM: 2x16GB Corsair DDR4
- GPU: Intel UHD 630
- Storage: 1xSamsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB M.2, 1x500GB WD Blue MSATA
What I've Done:
- Managed to get to Install Mojave Screen on the SSD through Clover, but the installation process always fails on the SSD itself due to "missing quartz framework". I gave up on clover and instead started trying OC. The Samsung SSD is not the issue
- Followed https://github.com/blacklizard/gigabyte-z390-aorus-pro-wifi-hackintosh-opencore to no avail. Theirs had a GPU and although I think I was patching the UHD 630 correctly, I was too doubtful.
- Used timche's EFI alongside Catalina to try to install Catalina. I get to a spam of apple messages and then the entire machine crashes on the first boot. This is my current attempt
I've attached my most recent logfile, my EFI, a video of the entire boot process, and some key screenshots of that boot process, all pictured below.
I suspect this is a CFG lock issue, but not only am I not certain, I also have no idea on how to verify if my CFG lock is even disabled.
Thank you all so much in advance!
