[HELP NEEDED] MSI GF63 Thin 10SCXR - Booting into BigSur

Hello, I have been trying to install Big Sur on my MSI GF63 THIN 10SCXR laptop for several days, but I couldn’t get it worked until now.

I followed Dortania's OpenCore Install Guide to create the USB installer.

On the first day, I was even unable to boot into the Big Sur installer. [Before several days, I also posted another thread here expecting someone to help me with this. (https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/n8c1g8/help_needed_kernel_panic_msi_gf63_thin_10scxr/) Fortunately, u/Nobbylobo, and u/duszmo tried to help me, and I really appreciate their effort.]

But I couldn’t make it work. Later I did a little research myself, and I found this thread: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/msi-gf63-i5-10300h-2-50ghz-boot-without-usb.312777/

And there is an OpenCore based EFI attached by the guy who posted that thread. (It was made for this model: MSI GF63 i5 10300H: https://www.tonymacx86.com/attachments/efi-zip.517973/)

I tried it, and it took me to the installer without a problem. (https://i.imgur.com/auue944.jpg) The installation took around 1 and a half hours to finish. (Targeted Installation disk is a portable HDD)

After the installation, the system drive appeared in the OpenCore picker, and I selected it to boot into Big Sur. But unfortunately, it showed up several other issues. So I modified the EFI, but I couldn’t fix a single one, so I reverted the changes.

This is how the boot screen shows the issue for the first time (this appears several times):

After going ahead a little bit, it shows this one several times:

Next, it turns into this, and after another several seconds, the computer restarts.

Here you can find the recorded video of the boot screen. (Length: 34secs): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1XV7LhiKURUqlwNAZK71K4ebyLIEau8XE/view?usp=sharing

I also tried booting into the recovery just to see if it shows different issues. But I could boot into the recovery without any problem (like it boots into the installer.)

Here you can find my EFI & log files: https://github.com/cheems/hackintosh-msi-gf63-thin-10SC

Hardware:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-10750H Comet Lake (HM470)
  • GPU: iGPU (Intel UHD Graphics 630), Nvidia GTX 1650 MaxQ (disabled)
  • RAM: 8 GB (stock)
  • Motherboard Model/Laptop Model: MS-16R4 / MSI GF63 Thin 10SCXR

  • Ethernet: Realtek RTL8168/8111 Gigabit Ethernet

My previous desktop builds were done with clover and had to stick with High sierra due to Nvidia graphics. This is my first experience with both OpenCore and a laptop.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me with this!!!
