Music production hackintosh / Dual boot VR Gaming Rig

Hey guys,

I am about to build my hackintosh. It will be used for music production (in MacOS) and do double duty on windows 10 as a VR gaming rig. It should be quiet for recording, and graphically powerful enough to get a good resolution at high framerates in VR. From what I understood by looking at loads of guides, is that to make this process as easy as possible I should get an Intel CPU, an AMD GPU, and 2 SSDs to host each of the OS's. So that's the idea I'm working with. Budget: Around 2000€ excluding peripherals.

So here's an idea list of parts for my use-case:

- Base: be quiet! Pure Base 600

- CPU: Intel i7-10700KF

- Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 4

- Motherboard: MSI Z490 GAMING EDGE WIFI (inkl WLAN + BT)

- RAM: 16GB (1x16GB) GSkill DDR4 3200MHz AEGIS

- SSD1 (Windows): 1TB Kingston NV1 M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVME

- SSD2 (Mac): 500GB Crucial P2 M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVME

- GPU: Not sure. Either the 16GB Powercolor RX 6800XT RED DEVIL, or: 12GB AMD RX 6700XT, which is 300€ cheaper. (Thoughts?)

- Powersupply: 750 W be quiet! PurePower 11 FM

This in total is around 2100€, which is great. If there are any areas which I can improve, for relatively little extra cash and get a relatively big boost in performance, I would be willing to do so. If there are areas that I can save a lot on and get a relatively minor loss in performance, I would also be willing to do that.

Thanks in advance for your tips, thoughts, criticisms and the like!

T.
