Verbose screen on egpu when igpu is asleep

I have Big Sur running via opencore and use an igpu instead of my GTX1070. I use the wegnoegpu boot flag to disable my card, but when my display sleeps, my monitor will switch over the the egpu which is displaying the startup process in verbose.

Any idea on how to get the monitor to sleep like normal?
