Z590 usb problems.

I just switched from a z490 to a z590 board. My build worked well on the z490.

It boots on Z590, but understandably does not recognize any USB ports, which is problematic for doing literally anything with my mouse and keyboard.

I read the write-up on dortania about z590 compatibility and I think I need to create the generic USB map kext they suggest, but I don't know how to do that.

Can somebody please describe the process explained here:

"The amount of USB ports does not fit the 26 port limit (2.0 + 3.x) just as usual. Without the plist-only kext describing every USB port in most cases even the basic macOS Installer will be uncontrollable through the mouse and keyboard regardless of the port limit quirks. To workaround it creating a plist-only kext with just the first 26 USB 2.0 and USB 3.x devices is highly recommended. Such an action should be enough to get the mouse, the keyboard, and the USB media work in at least some ports to perform the installation and configure all the devices properly."

My understanding is that I will need to create this kext on an auxillary machine, but I don't know how to do that manually, before I just used the USB map CLI tool.

Thanks
