Here are my specs: - Intel Core i3 1005G1 Ice Lake - Integrated Intel UHD Graphics G1 for Ice Lake processors - 8GB RAM 2666 DDR4 - 1366x768 14" display -ALC 230 Realtek audio codec What is working so far: - Graphic acceleration - Sound/Mic/Headphone jack - Wifi/Bluetooth/Airdrop - Keyboard/Keyboard Shortcuts - App Store/iCloud What is not working: - Touchpad (I don't know why it doesn't work, It uses an ELAN touchpad but even with proper kext it refuses to read the touchpad) - Hdmi port Performance is outstanding. I get better performance with my work from home tools and overall navigation is better than Windows 11 even tough my computer isn't supposed to support it. Temperature is lower than windows where most of the time my cpu fan was spinning really fast. I don't care about losing Windows since this is just a work computer and I don't plan on spending over $900 for a macbook with similar specs. I'll update this post if I manage to fix HDMI and touchpad (which are nor essential for me but I like to have everything working) [link] [comments] |
