Hi, I am currently running a pretty stable macOS Mojave installation. I checked in System Preferences that I have a update for macOS Big Sur. From reading the other comments in this community, it is reccomended that you ask before doing something. So, is it safe to update? If so, what risks can I put up with? I've got a bootable macOS Mojave USB ready, with all my school files backed up so I don't face any trouble.
