Does SMBIOS have anything to do with wireless chipsets?

I'm thinking of getting a BCM94360CS2 for my Monterey desktop build to get handoff and airdrop working. Does SMBIOS affect the compatibility of this chipset? If I buy one, do I need to change my SMBIOS model?
