NVidia Web Drivers Cert. expired / Installation failed/ Cannot install the WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.140.pkg

Recently nVidia Web Drivers are stop working,

At the beginning I cannot get into the system. I tried to make a override installation from recovery mode, then I start to realized that was something wrong on the web driver.

Anyway, long story short.

Here's what I did to fix it:

  1. Somehow get into your system, like using nv_disable=1 on clover.
  2. Update on those system security patches (maybe optional) , I updated to macOS 10.13.6 (17G14042) --- which is the latest version
  3. Try https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/the-apps-authorization-has-been-revoked-high-sierra-nvidia-graphics-certificates-expired.320609/page-3#post-2324531
  4. If after the step 3, you still cannot install the WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.140.pkg, such as saying 'WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.140.pkg' can't be opened. OR Installation failed, download this tool: strip_pkg_signature (Github)
  5. Use the tool to fix the expired WebDriver cert.

Should fix the problem... This is exactly what I did, I don't know whether step 4 is the key or this combination can fix it... The step 3 is actually for disable AMFI system on your mac (kind of file integrity system??)

I have been researching this problem for days.. Sometime I don't even know how to type the proper keyword to find those posts. I am so happy now!!! I almost gave up, and was planning to sell my GTX 1060 to buy a higher level AMD card..

This actually fixed my GTX 1060 on macOS High Sierra 13.6

Keyword: NVidia Web Drivers Code Signing / 'WebDriver-387.10.10.10.40.140.pkg' can't be opened / The app’s authorization has been revoked (High Sierra NVIDIA graphics certificates expired)
