Looking to dabble in macOS development by first trying on a Hackintosh running macOS Monterey. Being a first time Hackintosher (I don't know the proper word) on an Acer Aspire A715-75G, I'd like to know:
- What are the known issues on my device (going through the threads here, I figure the Nvidia card will have to be disabled), if anyone's made a Hackintosh out of one?
- Given the above issues, can I still get a decent performance to at least try my hand at development workflows in Xcode and AppCode?
- If yes to (2), what do I need to know to get started so that I don't end up messing up my device bad (read: bricking it)? Specifically, can I configure the bootloader to allow dual booting my usual Win 11 OS and Monterey as a fallback option?
