Not seeing any other option other than MacOS recovery when it reboots from the installer!

Hey! when I try to install macos catalina, it goes through the installation process and then reboots, only for the only option to just be going back to recovery. I'm stuck in this cycle and I'm not sure what to do, since I have to start over any time. Anyone know what to do?
