My first hackintosh. Surprised how well my installation went compared to others considering that it's my first time and I've never had any kernel panics, just a hang one time.

Hardware:

CPU: Intel Core i5-10400

GPU: MSI MECH 2X Radeon RX 6600

RAM: PNY XLR8 EPIC-X RGB 16GB DDR4 3200MHz

Motherboard: MSI B560M-A PRO

Audio Codec: Realtek ALC897

Ethernet Card: Realtek RTL8125

Wifi/BT Card: Tp-Link Archer T3U Plus (no Bluetooth tho)

What's working, and what isn't working:

What's working:

• All USB ports
• Sleep/Wake
• WiFi
• iCloud
• App Store
• iMessage
• FaceTime
• Power management surprisingly (saying this because I didn't use the suggested SMBIOS)
• Anything else that doesn't rely on Bluetooth

What isn't working:

• Boot Chime (couldn't figure that part out 💀)
• Bluetooth (I don't have a Bluetooth card/adapter)

Untested (but probably works):

• Ethernet

Things the Dortania Guide didn't mention that helped:

• adding -wegnoigpu to properly disable iGPU
• using an iMac Pro 1,1 SMBIOS instead of a iMac 20,1 SMBIOS to get DRM to work properly

One question tho. Could I update to MacOS Ventura seamlessly or would I have to make some changes to how my EFI is set up?
