Do I Really Need to get a Broadcom Card for Airplay?

This is the hardware I'm working with:

Tuf Gaming B550 Plus WIFIMotherboard
Ryzen 7 5700X cpu
RX 580 8Gb Sapphire edition gpu (still unable to fix DRM even though I found my GPU path, and tried setting shikigva=80 and 128 for the hell of it)
32 Gb of DDR4 RAM
have intel WiFi and Bluetooth (both working fine and able to discover other networks and other bluetooth devices no problem)
1Tb SATA SSD

To my knowledge, MacPro7,1 should support AirPlay and Universal Control... or am I totally wrong and missing something here..?
