Late 2012 iMac (iMac13,2) -- iOS simulators black screen under Xcode

Hi, this machine has only one GPU, an nVidia using the Kepler drivers.

Two issues: 1. In Firefox (not Safari), some X(Twitter) embedded videos are corrupted (not a big deal).

  1. Under Xcode the iOS simulators do not display anything.

If I remove the root patches, these two issues go away.

Any work-arounds? Appears that the nVidia drivers are the issue. Don't see anything in Settings that appear to be related.
