Open core update has bricked my Hackintosh HELP!

have had a stable system on my Asus Tuf x570 wifi, 5900x, 6800xt build after installing Open core over a year ago. I was getting ready to install and test ventura so did the following.

I made a complete External usb drive backup using carbon copy and copied the EFI. I then updated the USB drive from OC 0.8.3 to 0.9.4. using the ocat tools. Some kexts were also updated using the ocat tools. All booted in fine and seemed to work.

I then updated my main internal SSD having already tested it on the external USB, and it too updated and seemed to work fine yesterday.

Today however, I try to boot on either drive and it gets as far as the password screen then crashes black screen and reboots. It comes straight back to the same same screen again and loops. Once today it booted in this morning and worked fine, now not at all. Cannot believe that I have had a stable system for a year and now this OC update has bricked both my main drive and backup!

Im am wondering if I can fix the EFI file using windows as I have the original EFI I used to build the system still stored on my windows PC. I also have the external drive usb clone of my mac to play with. I have accessed the EFI file using Explorerplusplus, can I just replace the EFI (copy and paste) it with the original I used to build the system. How would I do that? Should I just try and copy the kexts files and swap them for the old ones? What about the plist?

The backup usb drive is updated to OC 0.9.4. and my system is duel boot windows 11 and Macos. Im trying everything I can as do not want reinstall if can be avoided as spend a long time setting it up.

thanks for anyone who is able to help..
