I've come across an excellent deal for some older hardware: 100$ for a 5930k, 64GB DDR4 RAM, ASUS X99-A II motherboard and a decent cooler. I was thinking of making a hackintosh out of it, but according to Dortania's Anti-Hackintosh Buyers' Guide, X99 is a platform to avoid. How bad could it be?
