Any Remote Desktop solutions for legacy machines with no Metal support and blacks out the screen on the host machine when connected?

I installed Ventura on my Late 2009 iMac, 11,1. It doesn’t have Metal support due to the GPU. Prior to this I was using TeamViewer to Remote into the system to do things but after I upgraded I can install the app but when I try to connect from another machine all I get is a black screen on the remote after connecting. I assume this is due to the lack of Metal support and am now trying to find an alternative solution.

I tried to see if I could disable hardware acceleration but it looks like the Mac version doesn’t have this option.

I have Chrome Desktop Remote installed and it works for connections, but I would like to have the iMac’s screen be black when connected to remotely. Does anyone know of any solutions.
