 | After a week of trying, failing and a lot of learning I was finally able to install Mac OS Big Surr on my Elitebook 8470p. Nonthelees, It was great little adventure especially to a new comer like me. Specs: CPU: Intel Core i7 3610QM 4 core 8 thread RAM: 16GB @ 1600MHz GPU: Integrated Intel HD 4000 SSD: 128GB Display: 1600x900 Most things works, especially important ones like hardware accelaration, USBs, keyboard(including wireless on/off button and mute button), touchpad, Wifi and ethernet. However what doesnt work is: - Display port(can be fixed but im not bothered) - Bluetooth(can be easily fixed but once again im not bothered since I dont need it) - VGA - SD card - Smart Card reader - Audio**(only problem which gives me headache, any help would be appreciated)** I exclusively used OpenCore Dortanias Guide. I also useed OC 0.9.5 If anybody needs my my EFI folder and config.plist, Im more than willing to share it. [link] [comments] |
