| | Hola, I could not get my MOTU thunderbolt soundcard to work with OC since big sur (current test on mavericks). (might be the switch from kext -> dext) Everything works fine with clover under Mojave. Thunderbolt will work with a different Soundcard (Universal Audio) I did some intense debugging and found out, that the driver references the card during boot and this fails: Involved Functions: - NetIOAudioDevice::getDriverService - getProperty: Could not find registry entry for "IODeviceTree: /product/audio - vm_shared_region_map_file() Stack Trace - Driver Fail During Boot When ALC Kext is ON - i get provide entitlements check failed When ALC Kext is OFF (in OC) - i get a lot more debugging information Since i have the complete working IORegistry under mojave i even duplicated the PlatformInfo including the necessary ALC layout id for HDEF. It all shows under the registry in Mavericks but the driver obviously doesnt load (see stacktrace). The last debugging sessions including all information regarding the system specs and drivers can be found here: Has anybody a clue, what to do here or where to find help?
