Password request not working to add fingerprints on Sonoma patched OCLP 1.0.0

I have a MBP 13.2 Late 2016 and I have successfully installed Sonoma via OCLP 1.0.0. I realize that T1 models have issues using fingerprints with this update, but the weird thing is that once I am in the touch ID/Password, I do have access to the fingerprints but when my password is asked the system just won't take it. Any known ways to go around this? Thank you!
