| | After a few days, I’ve successfully managed to boot into my Cardinal-based system. Everything works almost fine: USB 3.2, audio, sleep. Specs: Specifically, the Ethernet controller on this board is the Asix AX88179. Drivers are easier to find, but I’ve tried every version from 1.2 to 2.4, and none of them worked. Chipset: AMD A77e Fusion. I didn’t find much information, but it’s the same used on thin clients with AMD RX CPUs. I’ve modded the BIOS to enable above 4G decoding and enable xHCI handoff. This success showcases how versatile OpenCore can be. My next step will be getting it to boot from an RTL9210-based NVMe enclosure and upgrading the GPU to RX 6600 XT. Pros: Cons: [link] [comments] |
