I'm in a bit of a pickle.
I've been working off of a hackintosh that I built about 3 years ago. I've done some light editing and color grading (premiere & Davinci) on there but it's starting to show its age a bit as the files have become larger. It also broke down on me and took a good 3 weeks to figure out how to fix it.
So much so that I bought a M1 Max 16" MBP 2TB on Black Friday. I still haven't opened it because I fixed my hackintosh since it's arrived. I'm wondering if I should return or resell this laptop thats still in its original package.
I've been wanting to get into UnrealEngine5 on top of the light editing and color grading I do time to time. Maybe my money is better spent upgrading the PC? Am I missing something from the M1 Max?
