I have an old Mac laptop that had water damage to the hard drive, I had it repaired and have a new M2 drive, the issue is that I cannot get it to boot with the drive in it, I had it booted off of USB to the Mac recovery os, I also have a burned DMG of MacOS on USB but it will no longer boot no matter what(only recovery USB, only boot USB, both, etc) (all the above are without M2 drive)
