Hi, I'm new to this community but old to the "install-macos-where-its-not-supposed-to".
Last week I installed Ventura on a unibody MBP 15' mid 2012 base model, hats off to the OCLP team as it was the smoothest installation I've experienced. So everything works OOB but I've noticed my fans spinning like crazy when the laptop is idle & locked.
I quickly unlock it and check the activity monitor while CPU reached a frightening 104ºC and there were no processes taxing the CPU. This issue happened about three times that I'm aware of.
I've been able to switch turbo boost at my will and it doesn't make a difference, usually on Mojave I never reached high temps with turbo boost OFF even when taxing the CPU.
What could it be?
MacbookPro 9,1 2.3Ghz 16gb 2xSSD
