The screen of the iMac was carefully removed. Most importantly, it is crucial to disconnect the connection between the monitor and the motherboard very carefully (easiest with 2 people) (be sure to watch tutorials for this). A 4 TB SSD drive and 4x16 new RAM sticks were installed., after putting out the dusk of the old machine. Afterwards, Opencore and Sonoma were installed without any issues.
