My hackintosh is coming along great. I managed to get App Store up and running by logging in and updating a few details. But so far even after multiple attempts, iMessage refuses to work.
I log in, and about 30 seconds later it logs me out. I understand this is normal, and there is a page on the Dortania Post-Install Guide about enabling this, but I am running into an issue.
The Guide describes how, while checking a Serial on Apple's Coverage Page, I can get one out three possible outcomes. The problem is, apart from one or twice that the Serial was linked to an actual Mac, all other attempts at checking a Serial simply return 'Invalid Serial'.
There is nothing wrong with my copy-pasting skills, neither (I believe) is anything wrong with GenSMBIOS.
How do I find a valid, unclaimed Serial to enable iServices?
