My 14.5 update results issues and recommendation

Running late 2012 iMac 27” 1TB external SSD 32GB ram. 14.4.1 the fan was running a lot (prior didn’t have fan issues) update to 14.5 less fan issues BUT I have memory issues! I use free memory and it’s going down to 1 to 1.8GB free memory whereas prior to update it’s was running between 9 to 16GB free memory. So I’m constantly having to free memory. Posted link to free memory I tried the others but this one is the simplest for me.
