Disk not showing up in Finder but Disk Utility Recognizes it on 2011 MacBook Pro

I installed macOS Monterey on my MacBook and it went fine with the install and it boots. But I can't install OpenCore on the disk because neither OpenCore nor Finder recognizes it. It is a MacBookPro8,1 how do I fix this?
