I should preface this post by stating that I have installed OCLP and upgraded my MBA 2017 to Sonoma and it went perfectly. Not so my Late-2013 iMac 27" 3TB Fusion Drive...
I need to state upfront that there was absolutely NO WAY that I could get to boot into Startup Manager. Nothing worked so I ended up installing rEFInd. That may or may not have some relevance...
So after having created the bootable USB stick (Monterey, Ventura & Sonoma, I tried them all) in exactly the same way that I created it on my MBA, when I selected it from REFInd, all I got was the white no-entry sign.
However, if I booted into Startup Manager on my MBA, this USB stick loads (is booted from) straight away. So logic dictates that the fault is with my iMac. But what? Any suggestions?
I am happy to nuke the whole Fusion drive and start with MacOS Catalina, but being a Fusion drive I am not sure how to do that. Thoughts, anyone?
