Hi all,
I'm a brand new Apple user and I was given a late 2013 iMac for free. Runs great, does what it's supposed to do...to a point.
I'd like to upgrade the OS on it and I was pointed to OCLP. I'm on the fence right now about installing Sonoma on this machine. I'm afraid that running OCLP might brick my computer, making a perfectly usable computer unusable. The only reason I'd like to update the OS is because of Xcode - I would like to start developing up-to-date apps that rely on at least iOS 15. That's pretty much the only reason. That and compatibility with some apps.
Any opinions on if I should keep running Catalina or should I go ahead and upgrade to Sonoma? I am aware that some functions may not be available but I was curious if it would be worth the try.
Thank you!
